FAQ

How do I find a medication price in Algeria?

Type the brand name or active substance (INN) in the search bar. When available in the registry, the public price (PPA) or CNAS reference price is shown, along with reimbursement status.

What is a medication’s INN/DCI?

The INN (international nonproprietary name) is the active-substance name, e.g. “paracetamol” for Doliprane. It helps you find equivalent generics.

Are all medications reimbursed by CNAS?

No. Only medications on the reimbursable list are covered, up to a reference price. The “Reimbursable” badge indicates this when the data is available.

Does this tool replace a doctor or pharmacist?

No. This information is indicative only. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping or changing a treatment.

A question about your treatment?

A doctor can explain dosage, side effects and alternatives. Book an appointment online.
